2.1 Platform Role

Bharat Ride is a technology platform that connects users with independent drivers and transport providers. We do not directly provide transportation services.

2.2 Account Registration

• Users must provide accurate mobile number and details
• OTP verification is required
• You are responsible for account security

2.3 Location Access (MANDATORY FOR APPROVAL)

The app collects real-time location data to:

• Match rides
• Track trips
• Improve safety

Location is used only during active app use or ride tracking.

2.4 Permissions Used

The app may request:

• Location (required for service functionality)
• Phone (for calling driver)
• Notifications (ride updates)

2.5 User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Misuse services
• Provide false bookings
• Engage in illegal transport

2.6 Driver Conduct

Drivers must:

• Hold valid license and permits
• Maintain vehicle condition
• Follow safety norms

2.7 Limitation of Liability

Bharat Ride is not liable for:

• Delays due to traffic
• Driver misconduct (but complaints will be addressed)
• Loss/damage of goods unless proven negligence
